Free Talk BK is a poetry and yoga community organization that gathers to connect organically with local artists. My sister and I were tired of the digital world and wanted to bring back that “Speak Easy” “Def Poetry Jam” vibe, where people could actually meet in person.

We believe in the power of community.  If we as a community will come together and support each other in the arts, poetic expression and business; there will be nothing preventing us from achieving greatness! That’s why we provide healing opportunities to the community via yoga, visual, and preforming arts.
 
Since 2020 we have been gathering together once a month to perform spoken word poetry, display local art, and hold pop up yoga classes. Let us mindfully come together and heal a community, and free our minds one person at a time.
